Shopify custom apps & Functions

Custom Shopify apps for the logic your store actually needs.

When off-the-shelf apps can’t handle your pricing, bundles or integrations, we build custom Shopify apps and Shopify Functions that run natively inside Shopify. They’re built for your store and your rules, with no third-party app subscription.

Sound familiar?

Your discount logic needs three apps and still breaks.

Bundles, mix-and-match, tiered or B2B pricing that public apps only half support.

You’re paying monthly for an app you use 10% of.

One feature, a recurring bill, and another script slowing the store.

Checkout rules you can’t express.

Hide a payment method, block a shipping option or validate a cart, based on your own business rules.

Data that lives in two places.

Inventory, orders or customer data that should sync with your ERP, warehouse or CRM and doesn’t.

A theme full of hacks.

Logic forced into Liquid and JavaScript that should run on Shopify’s side.

Built for a real catalog

Seeds ’n Such needed Mix ’n Match pricing: customers combine seed packets across varieties at one packet price. We built it as a custom Shopify app on Shopify Functions, developed in our Partner account and installed directly on their store. It targets eligible packets by SKU pattern across a 1,363-product catalog, so the rule keeps working as new varieties are added. Read the case study →

Why a senior developer, not an app marketplace
  • 10+ years building e-commerce, from WooCommerce B2B catalogs to Shopify Functions.
  • You talk directly to the developer who writes the code.
  • Your app runs only on your store. No shared infrastructure, no feature you don’t need.
FAQ

Custom app questions.

Focused apps and single Functions (one discount type, one checkout rule) start at $1,500. Apps with admin settings, integrations or several Functions are quoted after a scope call. You get a fixed price in writing before work starts.

If a public app does what you need at a fair price, use it. We’ll tell you. A custom app makes sense when the logic is specific to your business, when you’re stacking several apps to fake it, or when a subscription costs more over a year than building it once.

For a custom app that uses Shopify Functions, yes: Shopify only allows custom apps containing Functions on Plus stores, and some Function capabilities are Plus-only regardless. On other plans we can still build custom apps for integrations, admin tools and theme app extensions, and for discount or checkout logic we’ll recommend the right route (an existing app, theme-side logic, or upgrading) before you spend anything. We check your plan before quoting.

You do. The app is built for your store, and you get the source and documentation at handover.

No third-party subscription. Functions run on Shopify’s own infrastructure. Apps with their own admin screens or integrations may need light hosting, which we’ll quote upfront. Like any software, the app needs occasional updates.

Functions and apps use versioned APIs. We can keep yours current on a monthly care plan, or hand it to your team with notes.

A focused Function usually takes 1–3 weeks. Larger apps and integrations take 3–8 weeks.

Have logic no app handles well?

Send us the rule, the workflow or the app you’re tired of paying for. We’ll tell you whether a custom build is worth it, and what it costs.
